Heading 3

With 15 years of experience, Maude Sabbagh blends strong expertise in documentary and brand-content advertising. Trained in television at UQAM, she has emerged as one of the most sensitive voices in the field, thanks to her human, respectful, and clear-sighted approach.
She’s directed standout documentaries and series including Face à la rue, Faire œuvre utile, MK ULTRA: la fin du silence, Histoires de coming out, Le deuil en héritage, Filles de moto, Amour libre, and La vie après. Her work earned her two Gémeaux awards for Faire œuvre utile: Best Documentary Direction and Best Documentary Series.
Today, Maude brings the same narrative rigor and relational finesse to advertising and brand projects. What sets her apart is her ability to forge strong connections with people, capturing what is real, beautiful, and meaningful.
A scriptwriter by training (UQAM, 2008), Ian‑Mathieu Ouellet has been a director for nearly twenty years, working across documentary, television, advertising, and brand content. Known for his comprehensive storytelling skills, from scripting to directing to editing, he brings rigor, creativity, and adaptability to every project.
At Pense Bon, Ian‑Mathieu draws on extensive international shooting experience (Africa, Vietnam, India, Thailand, Europe) and specialized expertise in sports content, social-impact projects, and campaigns for non-profits. His credits include Les coulisses du Bye Bye (Radio‑Canada), Tadam Vietnam, Tour de Thaï (TVA), Les Princes à Calcutta (TV5), and work for Chevrolet, Migraine Canada, Fertilys, Polytechnique Montréal, and many non-profit organizations.

Marielle brings a true breath of fresh air to the world of directing. She embodies a singular spirit, sometimes offbeat but always right on point. Her contagious laugh accompanies projects rooted in deep intuition and great sensitivity.
Since 2016, she has multiplied her projects: music videos, comedy capsules, series, commercials… Always on the lookout for emerging trends on the web and social networks, Marielle enjoys drawing inspiration from them and playfully twisting them with humor. Her insatiable curiosity feeds her creativity and allows her to keep a fresh outlook on her productions. More recently, she has added stand-up to her path, bringing her humor to the stage with authenticity.
Always full of new ideas, she combines rigor and creativity. As a child, fascinated by the order of libraries, she developed a strong attention to detail that is reflected today in her way of organizing each project, where discipline meets originality. Fun fact: her favorite trick to boost creativity is singing at the top of her lungs, in a Communauto, the jingle of Dans une galaxie près de chez vous. She also enjoys playing with what is true and what isn’t — that’s humor, after all!
She notably directed three seasons of Boredom, a parody series inspired by the wild universe of Jackass, and collaborated on various digital projects. Passionate about music, she often draws her ideas from it, and her path has also led her to radio, where she worked on comedy capsules, interviews, and show recaps.
For her, humor is a key to cohesion, a creative engine that runs through all her work. With Marielle, creativity never stops sparkling… a bit like a refreshing sip of lime Bubly: surprising and full of vitality.
Miriam Altounji is a director, editor, and screenwriter. For more than fifteen years, she has worked in the world of film and television with a deep conviction: stories take on their full meaning when they touch the heart and awaken emotion.
She began her career in film marketing at Les Films Séville, where she contributed to film promotion and trailer creation. This experience allowed her to develop a sharp understanding of the relationship between a work and its audience, as well as a keen instinct for narrative rhythm.
As an editor, she has collaborated with the NFB, CBC, ViceQC, APTN, Maison 4/3, and several independent producers. Her work on the documentary series Little Big Community (APTN), twice nominated at the Canadian Screen Awards, illustrates her ability to craft meaningful and human-centered narratives. She also directs various independent projects, enriching her perspective and strengthening her storytelling approach.
As a screenwriter, Miriam develops fiction projects that extend her exploration of visual storytelling. Her editing background now fuels her transition to directing, which officially takes shape with Pense Bon. Her narrative vision, marked by precision, stands out with a unique approach: she films with the eye of an editor, already thinking about rhythm, emotion, and the coherence of every shot.

Rose has been creating videos that stand out for their cinematic breath and narrative intensity. Self-taught and versatile, she often takes charge of all stages of production — from writing to cinematography, through directing, acting, and editing — which gives her projects a unique visual and artistic coherence.
Her universe, tinged with nostalgia and inspired by the aesthetics of past decades, highlights brands through immersive and memorable stories. After starting out as a videographer at the Université de Montréal, she has collaborated with several Montreal SMEs on vertical format projects, honing her advertising approach and mastery of social media content.
She recently directed two commercials for Disney as part of the Villains X Bath & Body Works campaign, confirming her ability to merge artistic vision with branded content. Rose offers companies much more than an advertisement: she transforms each project into a unique cinematic work that captures, inspires, and reveals the very essence of their brand.
At Pense Bon, our directors are the cream of the content crop ( yes, we’re confident we think good! )
